17 December 2011 @ 10:02 am

WHO: All Willing Participants
WHERE: The Xavier Institute
WHEN: Evening of December 16th
WARNINGS: None, I'd imagine.
SUMMARY: There's a talent show being put on by drama students and volunteers.
FORMAT: You can have whatever you'd like.

[ The auditorium is tastefully decorated for the holidays. Tickets are five dollars at the door and programs being handed out list the performers in order of their scheduled appearance as well as everybody helping out with the technical aspect of things.

Backstage, there is room for people to get ready, places in the wings to sit, and bottles of water readily available for thirsty participants. The usual fare. ]

Kurt Wagner: A little showmanship.
They're fuzzy and blue.

[ Your illustrious headmaster and that other blue teacher guy are, as it turns out, both fun-loving gentleman. So the two perform a nostalgic song-and-dance number suitable to their unique traits. This is, of course, complete with the hat-and-cane combo.

No other color will do.

When they're through and off-stage, Kurt, at least, is still grinning broadly and likely will be for the rest of the night. Fun stuff. ]
Dr. Henry Phillip McCoy: If you'll direct your attention here...bluepurrymuffin on December 18th, 2011 01:06 am (UTC)
[And Hank'll be grinning right beside him, patting his back and laughing.]
Kurt Wagner: A bit ghouly.in_likeflynn on December 18th, 2011 01:46 am (UTC)
Ah, to be a performer again.

[ As he's also starting to cue up the next kid in the wings. ]

One simply cannot quit a lifetime of being a total ham.
Dr. Henry Phillip McCoy: It's really quite simple.bluepurrymuffin on December 18th, 2011 08:18 am (UTC)
[Hank goes ahead and waves them good luck.]

That's why you always carry it with you off-stage, as well! Of course, it never hurts to take the opportunity when it presents itself.
